Cooking has been our life.  For 25 years we ran our family business, Bosh's Restaurant and Lounge, in downtown Schuyler.  From cooking food for our weekly buffet, catering and preparing for our party rooms, the food service and the community we entertained were intertwined.  So, in 1997 when we were asked to give up our family business in order to operate the food service at St. Benedict Retreat Center, we were hesitant, to say the least.   Though we knew our way of life would drastically change, one constant was food, and so we sold our restaurant and began a new journey.

Through our 40 years in the food industry, we constantly get asked for recipes.   In fact, as we worked to complete our first cookbook, the question that kept surfacing is "when is that cookbook going to be done?"   We're proud to announce that our cookbook, SINCE YOU ASKED, is now available for you to purchase in the St. Benedict Center Book and Gift Shop, the front desk of St. Benedict Center, at some local businesses, and on Amazon.com.
